For many people, putting on a harness and simply leaning out to have a look over the edge of an abseiling cliff is stepping out of the comfort zone. For others it may be stepping out by speaking up at work, making that phone call you've been putting off or saying I love you etc. Adventure teambuilding is the perfect platform to encourage an individual to challenge their self-imposed boundaries with the support of co-workers and placing trust in the equipment, their instructor and most importantly themselves

Fear will keep us in our comfort zone,  fear of failure, fear of success, fear of what will people think, fear of rejection and so on. Fear, if we allow it, will control us all our lives and eventually our life shrinks around us. So long as there is breath in our body we must continue to grow, facing fears with faith - faith in who we are and what we set our hearts upon to achieve.

As a facilitator of adventure teambuilding I have had the honour of witnessing many individuals go to a depth of transformation that only comes from challenging the comfort zone. Once the boundaries of our comfort zone are stretched they can never regain the original dimension, what was once perceived as a fearful place (outside the comfort zone) is now part of who we are, old ground, if you will. What began for me as teaching people how to have fun has grown into a passion, facilitating self-transformation through adventure based activity. By combining awareness of the comfort zone with elements of adventure, we can help guide participants to a fascinating inner path, a path that faces up to fear with faith and makes way for a life worth living
